Early intervention through neurodevelopmental play
Refers to any stimulation in infants and young children from 0-3 years old. Although not exclusive, the physical therapist focuses treatment on the development of gross motor function and general mobility. The occupational therapist focuses treatment on the development of fine motor skills and cognition.
The speech therapist focuses treatment on the stimulation of speech and comprehension. Early stimulation is an interdisciplinary approach searching for the stimulation in all developmental areas using specialized techniques at the visual, cognitive, sensory, vestibular, proprioceptive, tactile, perceptual and auditory level.
Testimonials
Susana Mejias: Sara, our daughter, was born prematurely. On the recommendation of the pediatrician we arrived at RED to help with her motor development and resolve a torticollis that developed since she was in the womb. Linda, her therapist , has helped a lot, and the progress is noted week after week, for which we are very happy and grateful.
